What success looks like in this role:

Project Management

  • Uses strong project management skills and delivery methodologies to lead the delivery of projects or sub-projects within planned timelines, budget, margins and quality specifications.
  • Manages the development and integration of the entire project(s). Consistently delivers high value, "client ready" work, including communications and presentations, with minimal supervision.
  • Proactively reports project risk and deliverable issues to superiors for assistance as soon as possible.
  • Establishes and manages the project plan (development, delivery schedule, resource requirements, 3rd parties, cost budget methodology, tools, standards and quality).
  • Uses appropriate methodologies (such as risk mitigation/management, change/control management and contract management) to manage major projects or a group of projects.
  • Actively manages ongoing expectations of stakeholders by ensuring they are in line with actual deliverables.
  • Always maintains stable and effective performance under pressure or in highly emotive situations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain a working understanding of the client contract.
  • Provide project leadership and motiviation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
  • Develops strong stakeholder relationships
  • Communicates deliverables, conducts client meetings, obtains required client sign off and specifications, client acceptance and billing.
  • Manages the performance of internal and external service providers in order to ensure the implementation of deliverables and resulting client satisfaction. Interfaces with sub-contractors.

People Leadership (Desirable)

  • Staffs projects and maintains the resource plan.
  • Manage a small to medium size cross organizational project team.
  • Provides mentoring, development and performance feedback to team members.

Finance Management:

  • Accountable for the overall project financial performances.
  • Accountable for the contracted project revenues and margin (Fixed Price and Time and material).
  • Accountable for project financials reviews with project controller, Client Executive, SDM and Unisys senior management.
  • Provide Estimation To Complete forecast to the Unisys stakeholders and the financial impact of identified risks project performance
  • Forecasts and tracks costs and revenue to meet project objectives and effectively utilize resources

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of related Project Management experience
  • Project/practice management experience with multiple, more complex projects, generally up to $2 million of services value per year.
  • Capable of managing multiple service streams.
  • Successfully completed the PMI examination or passed IPMA examination as appropriate for local geography. Successful track record of engagement and client relationship management.
