The Business Unit Group Manager is a senior-level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Group Manager may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams
  • Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including appropriate accruals, client allocations, the impact of capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Responsible for all cross product technology, regulatory and administrative duties in conjunction with the team, including financial, staffing, quality, risk and regulatory matters
  • Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing
  • Provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed
  • Work with Technology leadership to support the Business People strategy as well as the Communication strategy for the department
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

Knowledge:

  • Conocimiento senior de creación de estrategia de implementación de adopción ágil

  • Conocimiento senior de JIRA, Dashboards, Métricas de Agilidad

  • Manejo de Estrategia y situaciones dificiles (alto grado de negociación)

  • Alto Conocimiento de Lean y mejora Continua

  • Experiencia en optimización de Procesos

  • Certificaciones de Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach

Skills:

  • 10+ años de experiencia en roles de tecnología ( background en Tecnología) – Ingeniería / Licenciatura

  • 7+ años de experiencia como agile coach

  • Experiencia mejorando procesos o migrando de Waterfall a Agile

  • Conocimientos en herramientas Jira, Asana

  • Procesos de mejora continua y Lean

  • Change management – implementación de cambios culturales

  • Certificación SCRUM / product owner / agile coach (requerida / Diplomados / Cursos) / Lean o Change management

  • Dominio de Metricas Agile (Throught, velocidad, variación, phase time, cycle time, métricas de madurez, release, data quality, aseguramiento de practica ágil.

  • Habilidades para implementar modelos de madurez.

Responsabilidades:

  • Impulsar mejoras administrativas, operativas, de informes y de calidad a través de la asociación con equipos internos sobre adopción ágil.
  • Optimizar recursos, procesos para que la adopción ágil sea más fácil de adoptar y por ende tenga un impacto positivo en el P&L.
  • Responsable de generar una tendencia positiva en la adopción de la estrategia cultura ágil en el banco.
  • Responsable de la implementación de métricas, OKR ́s y KPI ́s para medición de la adopción ágil.
  • Generar un incremento de madurez de la practica ágil de la organización.
  • Generar propuestas para el manejo de proveedores dentro de un marco de trabajo ágil.
  • Supervisar el proceso del Informe de Metas Críticas del Negocio y otros procesos de informes para garantizar la calidad, eficiencia y precisión.
  • Asegurar que la practica en la herramienta se lleve con una cultura de cuidado en el data quality.
  • Trabajar con el equipo de liderazgo de Tecnología y negocio para respaldar la estrategia de implementación ágil.
  • Generar un plan de comunicación y la estrategia con un path de formación ágil tanto para negocio como para tecnología.
  • Trabajar en el desarrollo profesional de los agile coaches, reforzar habilidades necesarias para sus funciones.
  • Experiencia en change management
