This role focuses on Collateral under the Market & Securities Services Operation umbrella, ensuring proper collateral management for US businesses. The team is responsible for overseeing multiple balance sheets for Stock Lending products under the Markets business to guarantee the successful flow of all equity stock loan trades through the trade life cycle.



The Role: Operations Manager - Collateral

As the Operations Manager, you will be tasked with managing post-trade support activities such as collateral transaction processing, monitoring, aiding collateral settlement, and resolving imbalances. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing investigations, exposure monitoring, wire payments, and handling collateral disputes.


What You'll Do:
  • Manage collateral transaction processing and settlement
  • Investigate and resolve failing transactions
  • Oversee exposure monitoring
  • Vet wire payments
  • Resolve collateral disputes and respond to client queries
  • Provide exceptional service to institutional clients
  • Update procedures as needed
  • Identify and resolve financial risks
  • Support effective management of KRIs to minimize risks

Requirements
Skills Good to Have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in investment banking
  • Flexibility to work in US hours
  • Degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple stakeholders
  • Hands-on operations processing experience
  • Familiar with associated technology
  • Knowledge of BNY Access Edge or Global One system a plus
  • Ability to identify unusual triggers for collateral in agreements
