The Sr. Manager, Recruiting operates as a talent acquisition leader for Mexico and South America. They will partner closely with business leaders to provide talent consultative solutions tailored to support the execution of strategic talent priorities for different G&A and Technical business units that support Nissan Mexico and Nissan South America. They will develop, lead, and mentor a group of recruiters and talent sourcers to achieve business objectives in a strategic proactive recruitment environment.

  • Partners collaboratively with business leaders and HR team members to execute and drive the delivery of talent and business outcomes.
  • Develops and builds strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HRBP's, and business stakeholders.
  • Presents data-driven talent insights to Sr. Managers, Directors, and VPs as well as other key stakeholders.
  • Manages day-to-day staffing process for internal and external direct hire recruitment within Mexico and South America.
  • Creates and executes strategic sourcing methods for G&A and technical recruiting capabilities.
  • Researches and collaborates with the internal legal department regarding knowledge of applicable country laws to ensure compliance.
  • Develops, leads, and mentors a high-performing internal Talent Acquisition Team that can support Nissan's Mexico City HQ recruitment needs.
  • Guides and assist business leaders on hiring process, policies, and procedures.
  • Continuously refines and becomes a change agent for processes to be more efficient and beneficial to the team and stakeholders.
  • Incorporates external data benchmarking and best practices to ensure function stays on par with market dynamics.
  • Leads and ensures alignment with all outsourced providers to create a connected, seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establishes and ensures achievement of functional KPIs and strategic annual objectives.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; Masters and/or MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of directly related professional-level experience in Recruitment or Human Resources.
  • 5+ years of Management Experience/People Leadership experience.
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience setting direction with direct reports and managing daily operations.
  • Ability to travel 20%, including to North and South America.
  • Proven experience working with senior leaders and acting as a talent partner and constructive challenger, willing to ask questions and demonstrate intellectual curiosity to learn a new business and industry.
  • Clear, concise, and articulable communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience implementing DEI initiatives that produce a fair and equity candidate pipeline of diverse candidates.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker; ability to analyze data and report on trends.
  • Experience using Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience establishing team goals and KPIs that are related to business goals.
  • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships and influencing all levels from individual contributor to executive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include (Excel and PowerPoint).
