Join our team This position requires an experienced QA Automation professional to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and drive testing solutions and strategies. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Lead QA Automation Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate efficiently and effectively to accomplish tasks on the desired timeline.
- Learn and apply new business and technical concepts quickly.
- Provide technical leadership to the team, ensuring testing activities are aligned with the project strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in all aspects of the agile process, from story creation through release.
- Test and deliver application features that delight customers.
- Contribute non-functional requirements to projects to achieve long-term application health and stability.
- Understand and apply current testing practices.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends and use this knowledge to bring new innovative ideas to the group.
- Support Production applications as needed to prevent service interruptions and maintain high quality for our customers.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal form with colleagues.
- Mentor junior testers to sustain a high level of testing standards.
- Effectively manage your priorities and time.
- Present technical concepts and proposals with business and technical audiences in a way that resonates with them.
About You
You're a fit for the role if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related
- 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining automated test cases and frameworks using .Net and BDD SpecFlow
- Collaborate with developers and QA to identify test requirements and A/C
- Execute and analyze automated test case runs using GitHub Actions
- Experience using Agile Methodologies – Scrum.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - effectively communicating with technical staff, Business Analysts, Management, and business team members.
Key Skills:
- C# .Net, BDD SpecFlow, Selenium, Rest API;
- GitHub, GitHub Actions YAML;
- Azure DevOps (Test Plan Module)
