To strengthen our Finance, Control, and Legal Mexico Hub, we are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Management Accounting Team.

Under the guidance of the Management Accounting Business Analyst Manager, you will be accountable for the deployment and support of one or several products within the Management Accounting Product Group as a subject matter expert supporting LATAM countries, including Mexico, on financial reporting, planning, and forecasting, with a primary emphasis on SAP CO-PA. Your role is crucial in bringing innovation to finance by exploring new technologies, eliminating business disruptions in operations, and enhancing efficiency in Finance & Control operations in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support to Finance end users across LATAM.
  • Implement finance technology solutions aligned with functional stakeholders' needs and the Management Accounting IT Product Group roadmap.
  • Support business integration initiatives, including Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
  • Support Digital Transformation within Finance IS/IT.
  • Deliver IS/IT Finance projects on time and within budget.
  • Translate technical requirements into functional specifications for the business finance team.
  • Support Period End Close and forecasting activities carried out by the markets, ensuring efficient use and optimal performance of the relevant IT tools.
  • Analyze, document, and test program development, logic, process flows, and specifications.
  • Deliver training to end-users, deployment, and support teams.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for enhancement, and opportunities for process automation.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
Required Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant business analysis experience in a pertinent functional area.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in an Agile/DevOps environment utilizing design-thinking methodology.
  • Strong grasp of basic system engineering, information risk, security guidelines, and architecture standards.
  • Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent comprehension of business complexity and interdependencies.
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into application requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of the IT landscape within the functional domain.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Controlling modules Profitability Analyses, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center, and Project Accounting.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamic Forecasting tools.
  • Proficiency with Business Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is also advantageous.
  • Experience in effective communication in English at different organizational levels.
  • Background in working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
  • Experience with other Finance-related modules within or outside of SAP, Master Data governance knowledge, and fluency in Portuguese are a bonus.
