Analyst CH Finance Mexico
Your Tasks & responsibilities:
• Support the division in the financial steering and planning, tracking of target achievement, business analysis and performance management
• Business Partner with key commercial stakeholders in all elements of the P&L - Sales, COGS, P&I and cost centre management
• Co-ordinate and complete Month End process ensuring all journals are correctly processed, results are validated and accurate (Accruals for P&I, Opex, write off, LE costing)
• Develop efficiencies in reporting and tracking certain areas through interaction with business team, i.e. Reporting packs, P&I spend, cost centre reporting etc.
• Execute complete end to end planning and forecasting processes (StraCo, Budget, Quarterly Forecasts) to optimize the financial performance of the Commercial Operations in MEXICO
• Assist in steering of Financial Results (month, quarter, year)
• Assist in providing opportunities to improve business performance through analysis, help initiating or challenging corrective measures to achieve targets
• Provide regular reporting and sound analysis to Head of Finance MEXICO including deviations to targets and budgets, risk & opportunities – own Global Sales and Profit Annotations process. Support Finance BP CH with ad hoc financial analysis including scenario analysis on strategic initiatives and ideas
• Prepare new product launch and other business case financial outputs
• Be the primary point of contact for the CH MX management team for local commercial questions
• Actively partner with, CH MX with focus on any CFO functions as Associate Finance business partner
• Participate as required in the management team meetings and prepare required financial analysis
• Strong interaction and cooperation with all departments reporting to CFO
• Ensure all Regional Reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time – MBR packs, Forecast decks, insights for regional reports
• Manage all non-direct P&L KPI's including: NPC, FTE and P&I (working/non-working media), DSO, Days of Inventory, Write offs
• Key support for Global projects – eg ZBB, NRM
• Assist with compliance audits and process reviews (internal and external)
• Key owner of compliance of internal processes, ensuring appropriate measures are put in place for any approvals or validations.
• Execute operational controlling tasks and act as a controlling process expert: - G2N management and Rebate Reconciliations - Margin reporting & Analysis - Cogs (Planning & Reporting) Cosmos - Cashflow planning and forecasting - Create new cost centres - Ensure all cost cycles captured (liaising with Shared Services) - Manage Allocations of Profit Centre and Cost Centres
• Manage external Shared Services (in Costa Rica) – ensure all tasks required are completed accurately
• Provide Input in Design & development of controlling concepts, based on best practices
• Comply with global/local governance for function-specific Controlling processes
Who You Are:
• Proven track record in Commerce / Finance in a similar capacity
• At least 8 years' experience in a finance related role
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in an organized manner and set priorities to meet deadlines
