Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
El propósito de este puesto es asistir y ejecutar en el Desarrollo de nuevos colores para el negocio de One Wheel con el objetivo de cumplir en tiempo y forma en las formulaciones de colores y productos, preparación y aplicación de muestras de nuevos colores en línea del cliente del sector Automotriz de rines.
Proveer soporte a la producción y al área de servicio técnico del negocio de rines en la corrección o ajuste de nuevos colores.
Responsibilities
- Desarrollar formulaciones de color de acuerdo a guías de formulación para tecnologías base agua y base solvente.
- Preparación y aplicación de muestras de acuerdo a procedimientos.
- Evaluación de pigmentos orgánicos y pigmentos de efectos.
- Manejo de espectrofotómetro y cabinas de luces.
- Manejo de instrumentos de laboratorio, potenciómetro, copas de densidad, copas de viscosidad, brillómetro, microscopio.
- Aplicación de muestra con pistolas HVLP y sistemas de campanas
- Escalamiento de nuevos colores a nivel producción.
- Colaborar con el llenado y mantenimiento del sistema de gestión de documentos del laboratorio.
- Contribuir con mejora en formulas o productos actuales.
- Contribuir con la recuperación de lotes con fallas en sitio
Level of Autonomy
- Utilización de pigmentos orgánicos y de efecto para el desarrollo de un nuevo producto en base a costo y performance.
- Toma de decisión en ajustes de color de muestras de laboratorio.
- Toma de decisión en ajustes de color de primeros lotes de escalación en manufactura.
Examples
- Se solicita desarrollar colores para aprobación OEM que sean aprobados dentro de las primeras 3 o 4 sumisiones, eso quiere decir que tendrás que utilizar tus conocimientos y habilidades para encontrar los pigmentos adecuados y los niveles requeridos para obtener el color de manera eficaz y dentro de un corto periodo de tiempo.
- Una vez aprobado el color, cada OEM solicita una serie de pruebas para aceptar completamente un producto nuevo. Deberás asegurarte que todos los paneles sean pintados dentro de los espesores, capas y tiempos de curado correctos.
- En el sitio de manufactura se está fabricando por primera vez un lote y requiere un ajuste porque el tono y las propiedades han salido muy desviadas de lo esperado. Tendrás que analizar a que se puede deber esta desviación, encontrar la causa raíz y ajustar para evitar reincidencia

- Ingeniería trunca o Carrera técnica trunca o terminada.
- Conocimientos en colorimetría y espacios de color
- Conocimiento en pigmentos orgánicos y pigmentos de efecto.
- Balanceo de fórmulas base agua y base solvente.
- Manejo de equipo de laboratorio.
- Conocimiento en aplicación de pintura base agua y base solvente con pistolas HVLP y campana.
- Experiencia en solución de problemas técnicos relacionados a la pintura
