Job Summary

• This role is responsible for developing IT strategies aligned with a high-impact business agenda and collaborating with vendors and senior management to define information needs and sustain service levels. The role assists in managing IT spends and investments, resolving operational issues directly with clients, and serving as a representative of relevant stakeholders to ensure consistency in plans between IT and respective entities. The role identifies opportunities for leveraging standardized IT solutions and advocates for best practices. The role also cultivates relationships with tactical leaders and contributes to complex projects while providing mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Responsibilities

Support multiple Portfolio Management processes and the related reporting from the design, development, and maintenance of scalable systems to support applications. Collaborate with other software engineers, to integrate pipelines and ensuring seamless applications and integrations from various sources. In addition to support data-intensive applications and machine learning models.

Work closely with front-end engineers to design API endpoints and ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end component.Implement efficient algorithms and data structures to optimize system performance and data retrieval.Participate in code reviews, identify barriers, propose solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability and security.Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices and the fast-changing area of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.

Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in IT projects, process improvement, or a related field.

Job Requirements/Skills
5+yrs demonstrated familiarity in project, program and portfolio managemnet subjects.Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), design, security, data modeling, and optimizing database queries for performance.Experience with PowerBI reports and data modeling.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Familiar with Agile methodology concepts for software development.Develops processes for enforcing cloud governance, architecture, operating procedures, monitoring, and system standards.Responds to incidents, owns them and drives to completion, participates in root cause analysis.

Additional Experience as a plus- Responsive UI development- JavaScript web application frameworks (React)- GIT version control
