Job Description
Our Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance team strives to advance global healthcare through groundbreaking research and innovation. By conducting clinical trials and surveillance, we guarantee the safety and effectiveness of our current and upcoming products, producing cutting-edge, secure, and effective medications.
Essential Knowledge in Project Management and Site Management:
- Strong organizational skills with a proven track record are essential.
- Capability to make independent decisions and supervise crucial activities related to clinical research in line with established global policies and commitments, under the guidance of the TA Head or CRD.
- Thorough understanding of local regulatory requirements is crucial.
- Proficiency in scientific and clinical research is a must.
- Solid grasp of clinical trial planning, management, and metrics is vital, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and protocols concurrently.
- Experience in bridging the gap between Country Operations and Clinical Trial Teams
- Effective communication and fostering a collaborative atmosphere in a virtual setting across various countries, cultures, and functions.
- Proficient in both written and oral English and the local language. The individual should excel in communication skills.
- Strategic mindset.
- Ability to operate effectively in a virtual and remote environment.
- Appreciation of cultural differences.
- The role necessitates robust project management capabilities and/or certification in project management or relevant training.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science (or equivalent).
- Preferably, an advanced degree (e.g., Master's degree, MD, PhD).
Experience Requirements:
- 5-6 years of clinical research experience
- Prior CRA Experience is desirable
Expected Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong leadership qualities that facilitate alignment with the objectives, vision, and mission of our company Research Labs (MRL), Global Clinical Development (GCD), and GCTO.
- Ability to proactively identify issues, conflicts, and opportunities, and lead in analyzing and devising mitigation strategies while driving conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in skillful negotiation in challenging circumstances with internal and external parties; resolving disputes with minimal disruption. Examples of common challenges include: 1) low patient recruitment, 2) insufficient staff to meet operational needs, 3) performance or compliance concerns, 4) navigating regulatory matters and the broader organization, and 5) resolving conflicts.
- Educational, diplomatic, and empathetic skills to proficiently develop and maintain professional relationships with investigators and other stakeholders.
