**Job Description**:**Internal Supplier Quality Engineer**:**Position Summary**:**The Internal SQE is responsible for the Internal Suppliers monitoring for Quality KPIs and PPAP approval.Also to lead escalation processes due to poor Supplier Quality metrics and/or major quality escapes and to perform on-site visits for Validations & Audits.Ensure accomplishment of the AIAG PPAP manual fourth edition requirements and Customer Specific Requirements.**:**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Approve PPAP packages: Determine Submission Level and Other submission Requirements, Drive adherence to PPAP submission date., Verify PPAP packages includes all documents as drawings on APTIV System, IMDSs approved in System, Key Characteristics, etc.All approved PPAP packages need to be upload in GSD and update the information (When Applicable).Sign off PSW (When Applicable).- Technical quality support: Support Quality Organization with technical information about any specific Internal Component.Be part of the multifunctional team when Supplier Quality Issues impact Aptiv EDS and give Support.Main contact between Internal Supplier base and Aptiv EDS plants.- Lesson learned and look across: Ensure Internal Suppliers have a LL & LA system in place and it is properly used.Audit the LL & LA implementation for known Quality defects and Corrective Actions among Internal Suppliers Plants.Assure each component has PPAP status.- Perform Supplier Manufacturing Capability Assessments as appropriate: for Top Internal Suppliers / Major Quality Issues / Tool movements.: On Site Validation of every Major Issues such as Quality, Capability, Tool Movements, etc.Strict follow up to Escalation Processes and Corrective Actions Implementations at Supplier.- Perform Supplier Manufacturing Capability Assessments as appropriate: for New locations / Complex Parts / Critical Launch / Critical Product-Process: On Site Capability Validations for New Locations, Complex Parts, Any Critical Launch and Critical Product-Process.Strict follow up to Supplier Quality Plans and Improvement Actions based on criteria above.**Background/Skills/ **Knowledge**- Quality Control- Standard work- Drawings Interpretation- MSA- Control plans- PFMEA- 5S- IATF ******- PPAP- Structured problem solving- SPC- APQP- AIAG Manual- Customer Specific Requirements- English 80%- Teamwork- Leadership**Aptiv Rewards & Advantages**- Competitive compensation package.- Learning, professional growth and development in a world recognized international environment.- Access to internal & external training, coaching & certifications.- Recognition for innovation and excellence.- Opportunities to give back to the community.- Meaningful work that makes a difference in the world.**Some see differences.We see perspectives that make us stronger.**Diversity and Inclusion are sources of innovation and creativity, both of which are essential to Aptiv's success.Everyday our diverse team comes together, drives innovation, pursues solutions, and meets challenges using their unique abilities, perspectives and talents, changing what tomorrow brings.When you join our team, you'll get encouraged to think boldly, express your viewpoint and innovate as a matter of habit.Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
