As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of suppliers' products and services and identifying continuous improvement initiatives.**Responsibilities**:- Identify continuous improvement initiatives in Supplier Quality Processes to improve Return to Vendor Cycle Time, reduce slow-moving inventory levels, and Improve Supplier Containment- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and components used in our aerospace and defense products.- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.- Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supplier quality management.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the aerospace and defense industry.- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.- Familiarity with supplier qualification and auditing processes.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
