**Job Summary/Overview**:The Quality Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing of products, and recording and analyzing results gathered during product development and production.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Develop and maintain inspection reports.- Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications.- Maintain and document calibration of quality control equipment.- Perform inspections across all stages of production.- Prepare and maintain test data for review.- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.- Works with Materials/Purchasing Department to assure acceptable supplier quality and delivery.- Conduct data collection, data analysis, and trending.- Other duties as assigned.**Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities**:- Gage software knowledge- Microsoft Office experience- GD&T blueprint reading- Ability to utilize the following gages and measuring devices: micrometers, calipers, height gage, hardness tester, optical comparator, spectrometer, CMM, and go/no go gages- Must possess a strong sense of urgency, teamwork, keen attention to detail, ability to plan, organize and multi-task.**Required Qualifications**:- 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred- 2 + years of CMM programming and operation experience
