The Senior Automation Engineer-Developer for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a crucial member of the Global's Infrastructure Services team.The role focuses on developing and advancing IaC tools and solutions to create scalable, automated IT systems that enhance service delivery.This position plays a key part in automating both the provisioning and operational maintenance of infrastructure, using Agile DevOps CI/CD methodologies.It supports the transformation of the company's public and private cloud infrastructures.**Requirements**:- **Fluent in English.High Proficiency level (must).**- **Bachelor's degree in computer science**, Software Development/Engineering or related field.- **10+ years** of experience in Enterprise IT, including IT operations, coding, automation, SCRUM/Agile-DevOps/SysOps/CICD/SDLC mythologies, design, implementation, migrations, transformations, deployment, DevOps/SysOps, architecture, and IT governance.- **10+ years** of experience in DevOps/CICD, software development, write scripts, building automation playbooks, and develop code using programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or others.AI Machine Learning, and system integration across multi-cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) both public and private.- **8+ Years**of experience using DevOps/automation tools such as **Dynatrace**, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Azure Log Analytics.- Advance level knowledge of Hybrid-cloud technologies with Microsoft Azure cloud, Google Cloud Platforms, Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper-V, and serverless/container infrastructure architecture inclusive of security and disaster recovery of hybrid-cloud-serverless infrastructure.- Advance level knowledge of Microsoft & Linux.- Advanced knowledge of networking, OSI model, TCP/IP, routers, load balancers and XML gateway devices.- Advance level of ITSM platform tools such as FreshService, ServiceNow, etc.- ITIL Certification and experience preferred.- **Certifications in various enterprise**hybrid-cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, automation, AI/ML, DevOps, SCRUM/Agile, and tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.- Strong communicator, action-oriented, innovative, technically skilled, and results-driven.**Responsibilities**:- Engineering, Code Development & Operations: Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities, develop and maintain IT systems for Day-1 and Day-2 service delivery (e.g., provisioning, monitoring, deployment) using platforms like IPSoft Amelia, Ansible, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, Terraform.Focus on increasing productivity, reducing manual effort, and ensuring high availability.- Automation & Efficiency: Analyze workflows to improve efficiency through automation, using tools for monitoring and alerting (e.g., Dynatrace, Azure Monitoring).Implement proactive strategies to detect and resolve system issues automatically.- Coding & Scripting: Develop scripts using Python, PowerShell, Golang, Bash, and other languages to automate tasks across multi-cloud infrastructures (Azure, GCP, AWS).- Orchestration & Configuration Management: Use IaC frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift) for infrastructure provisioning and management.Implement self-service IT automation solutions for various services.- Testing & Security: Run code tests and ensure automation solutions meet security and compliance standards.Manage change control and incident response.- Architecture & Strategy: Act as the lead technical resource for IaC Automation, contributing to automation strategies and ensuring alignment with global IT standards.- Collaboration & Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams, providing expertise, mentorship, and consultation on automation design and implementation.- Documentation & Project Delivery: Document technical designs, processes, and standards.Participate in project execution and delivery, ensuring proper integration of infrastructure and automation solutions.- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Build relationships with internal teams and external vendors, fostering collaboration and guiding IaC adoption.- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance on automation strategies, driving adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
