This role is focused on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. You will partner with clients to design, configure, and validate solutions while ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into scalable, user-centric applications.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to gather business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and documentation reviewDesign, configure, and optimize solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components:Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps)Power Automate (workflow automation)Power BI (dashboard/report integration and requirements)Dataverse (data modeling and security roles)Create functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and user stories to guide development teamsConfigure Dynamics 365 CE entities, views, forms, business rules, and workflowsLeverage connectors and integrations with external systems using Power Platform toolsDevelop and maintain solution documentation, testing artifacts, and release notesExecute and coordinate functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolutionProvide client training, support go-live activities, and post-implementation reviewsWork closely with project managers, technical leads, and developers to ensure end-to-end delivery successParticipate in proposal development, demos, and client solutioning as neededDocument and analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state workflows and functional requirementsCollaborate with clients to translate business requirements into functional and technical specificationsAbility to articulate key decision-making scenarios between Canvas vs. Model-Driven Apps, understanding of Dataverse schema design, and governance models (e.g., security roles, solution layers, ALM) in Power Platform; be able to provide real-world application examplesStrong functional approach to Integration projects, requiring oversight of end-to-end integration efforts, structured approach to gathering technical-functional requirements, identifying integration points, and defining functional acceptance criteria; familiarity with how Power Platform connects with third-party systems (e.g., via connectors, APIs, Azure intermediaries)Data Mapping and Transformation: The candidate needs to clearly describe how to approach data mapping between systems, including aligning fields, handling transformations, managing source/target mismatches, or validating migrated data; key responsibility during solution design and UATProject Requirements: the candidate should demonstrate readiness for these responsibilities:multi-agency workflows, system integrations, document management, and data-driven appsConsultant who can drive workshops, guide functional architecture, and collaborate with technical leadsQualifications3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst working on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE projectsHands-on experience in designing and configuring Power Apps and Power Automate flowsStrong understanding of Dataverse, entity relationships, and role-based securityFamiliarity with Power BI requirements gathering and dashboard integrationExperience in QA processes including test planning, execution, and traceabilityProficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar for managing backlog and test casesExcellent communication and documentation skills; able to interact directly with business users and technical teamsAdvanced knowledge of English languageThe consultant must not work with other clients during business hours or the duration of this engagementPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certifications such as PL-200, PL-100, PL-900, or MB-210Experience working in public sector, nonprofit, or grant-based organizationsAgile or hybrid delivery model experienceBENEFITS??
