It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doingWe're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The buyer obtains the best quality, value and service for product and services through supplier management.Success in the role includes proactive approach to daily work along with strong communication and organizational skills.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESManagement and maintenance of Suppliers with activities related to selection, forecasting, monitoring performance, and supplier corrective actionsGenerate and manage ERP (Oracle) purchase order releases for production and new product launchCreate Material Purchase Authorizations for customers with activities around pricing, NCNR and pipeline liability maintenanceEstablish purchasing automation with blanket purchase orders Manage purchase order actions (reschedules / cancels / expedites / confirmations / supplier exceptions / closing short shipments)Manage quarantine items and returns to suppliers (supplier quality, ensuring credits are received, react to receiving issues & discrepancies, disposition NCRs) ECO material impact analysis & dispositionMaintain and setup parts in ERP system (Lead Times, Price, MOQ, Supplier)Manage End of Life and difficult to source parts in the market and work to keep our inventory exposure at a minimumCollect and report on component level PPV Manage contract adherenceCost reduction and supplier negotiations for items not owned by commodity managementQuoting and sourcing of materialDrive supplier performance improvements : lead time reduction, increase payment terms and OTD Involved in resolving Accounts Payable, credit holds and payment terms issues as it applies to supplier deliveries and invoicesQUALIFICATIONSIndustrial engineering or related career or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably within the electronics industryLean Supply Chain experience would be beneficialCertification or enrollment in APICs or PMAC is preferredERP system experience within a Supply Chain environment including purchasing and inventorySKILLS REQUIREDIntermediate knowledge of MS ExcelExcellent English communications skills, both written and verbalOrganized, self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressureAttention to detail and thorough follow through skillsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilitiesIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with usWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.Canada: Title for the position will be in accordance with applicable national and local laws.#J-*****-Ljbffr
