OverviewThe Asset Manager will report to the Mexico Head of Asset Management and will collaborate with Citibanamex to drive the strategy and execution of the retail branch and offices network.This role will be accountable for delivering world‑class real estate solutions that adhere to agreed standards and optimal costs that support the activities of Citibanamex.Key ResponsibilitiesFull P&L responsibility for operating and capital budgets for the designated portfolio.Coordinate with Finance to prepare and manage budgets, focusing on identifying risks and opportunities.Work with other RES functions (Design & Construction, Transactions, FM, Finance & Business Evaluation) to identify, evaluate, secure approval for, and execute strategies and initiatives to optimize the footprint and reduce expenses in line with business priorities.Lead efforts that result in closures, consolidations, relocations, and cost‑saving initiatives to maximize the value of Citi's operating real estate assets.Partner with the Transactions team to evaluate prospective sites.Create a strong partnership with FM to assure all initiatives are budgeted and executed according to business needs and brand guardrails.Monitor quality building operations and ensure compliance with Citigroup's RES Operating policies and all related local regulations.Employ continuous improvement techniques to minimize health, safety, and environmental risks to staff, clients, contractors, and premises.Govern and manage the Regional Quality Building Operations Review (QBOR) and provide updates to Global QBOR Governance.Oversee monthly reporting of key metrics, updates, and items for management attention in partnership with functional heads.Contribute to presentations, IEPs, and analyses & reporting in partnership with other RES teams.Ensure adherence to Citi's compliance and control framework, including standards of conduct, process oversight, sufficient approval authority levels, appropriate skills and training for personnel, and testing for compliance controls.Job Skills / QualificationsMinimum 6-10 years of strategic real estate / property management / asset management experience, preferably in the financial services industry.Strong organizational and communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of management and relate complex information clearly and succinctly.Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with business clients, internal RES partners, third‑party service providers, and landlords.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Solid understanding of accounting and finance.Ability to drive results with sensitivity to tight timelines and cost objectives.Adaptable to a dynamic corporate environment and real estate market.Travel ability (sometimes last minute) to attend portfolio issues.Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.EducationBachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience.
