At PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL), we believe that every person has the right to participate fully in the global economy.Our mission is to democratize financial services to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or economic standing, has access to affordable, convenient, and secure products and services to take control of their financial lives.Job Description Summary: The Regulatory Reporting Manager is responsible for change management including performing regulatory reporting gaps and impact assessments on existing reports due to new products, M&A, or new obligations.You will be working with business teams, IT Engineering, and operations groups to ensure that new reports or changes are developed to meet the regulator's expectations, including high-level control, governance, and automation throughout the entire development process.You will be a strong communicator to address requirements and dependencies with stakeholders, acting as a connection point between groups for different types of change requests, removing roadblocks and setting solution paths to comply with the regulatory requirement.**Job Description**:**Key Responsibilities Include**- Engage with the leaders of specific product initiatives and participate in related meetings to understand the regulatory reporting impacts and define readiness criteria.- Act as the direct point of contact for regulatory reporting change management with the regulators and external & internal stakeholders.- Perform regulatory reporting gaps and impact assessments.- Interpret new/existing regulations and reporting requirements.- Document definition/assumptions of each reporting attribute.- Partner with the PayPal compliance teams to ensure interpretations agree with the regulator's expectations.- Develop regulatory reporting data requirements and mapping rules,- Identify data sources for individual line items establishing data quality frameworks.- Ensure automated solutions are implemented rationalizing related systems, processes, and controls.- Define, design, and test report output for quality assurance.- Challenge, resolve, and communicate any issues to internal stakeholders.- Work with PayPal financial and accounting teams to ensure an additional level of validation from SMEs.- Develop quality control processes to maintain a consistent source of truth for financial reporting.- Assess, develop and maintain proper controls and robust documentation.**Required Skills And Experience**- Bachelors degree required.Accounting or Business degree preferred with strong professional experience in e-commerce/payments/financial services industries.- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.- Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members.- Strong presentation and documentation skills - proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.- Ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines with attention to detail.- Experience in project management.- High level of expertise in sourcing, interrogating and manipulating data in various forms/code from multiple systems/platforms- Working experience with SQL, VBA, PowerBI/Tableau.- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.- Excellent meeting management and facilitation skills.- Availability to travel- Strong process improvement skills.- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;Our Benefits:At PayPal, we're committed to building an equitable and inclusive global economy.And we can't do this without our most important asset—you.That's why we offer benefits to help you thrive in every stage of life.We champion your financial, physical, and mental health by offering valuable benefits and resources to help you care for the whole you.Who We Are:As part of PayPal's commitment to employees' health and safety, we have established in-office Covid-19 protocols and requirements, based on expert guidance.Depending on location, this might include a Covid-19 vaccination requirement for any employee whose role requires them to work onsite.Employees may request reasonable accommodation based on a medical condition or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.
