About the Role- Provides entry-level first call response for solutions pricing and quoting of simple solutions requests for customers within assigned territory or is accountable for territory focused relationship based customer transactions in support of a large group with more complex solutions.- Accountable for opportunity forecasting and pipeline management for the same group of assigned-territory customers.**What You'll Do**Duties and Responsibilities:- Provides the first call response focused on providing pricing and quoting the customer identified solution.- Engages with the customer to understand the scope of the solution request.- Utilizes entry-level knowledge and tool sets to configure, price, quote and process requests for specific hardware, software, services for identified configuration design solutions.- Creates and delivers initial solution to the customer, determining and communicating lead time and delivery based on product availability, build lead times, etc.- Provides assigned-territory customers with information to assist in making additional decisions regarding hardware, software, services and/or services renewal and warranty.- Adheres to customer program requirements utilizing customer contract information to ensure enforcement of terms, freight, inventory, pricing, etc.- Supplies final adjusted design solution pricing based on applicable programs, promotions and add-ons.- Uses internal resources to resolve or escalate all pertinent pre-sales issues, e.g., credit, engineering, etc.- Refers requests for product education and product alternatives outside of their area of knowledge to others.- Follows up on all opportunities and monitors the pipeline activity to close within the identified forecast period.- Contributes information to forecast consolidations.- Participates in planning and reviews for customers in the assigned territory.- Implements actions identified by management to resolve identified budgets gaps.- Maintains integrity of customer information in TD SYNNEX systems, as appropriate.**What We are Looking For**Knowledge and Skills:- Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of product, pricing, customer service and sales strategy.- Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of simple configuration solutions design, including tools, products and services, practices, procedures and methods.- Demonstrated ability to identify and use appropriate tools to price simple configuration requests.- Demonstrated working knowledge of sales and quoting systems.- Demonstrated working-level attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks based on identified process requirements.- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.- Knowledge of distribution industry.**Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions**Work Experience:- One (1) year of experience in a configuration, sales or other related role with extensive customer service interface in a technical or product support role within a computer products, system solutions-related distribution business or similar environment.Education and Certification(s):- Associate Degree in business, IT or related field OR an equivalent combination of formal education, training and directly related job experience.- Product/supplier certifications as required.Distinguishing Characteristic(s):- This position provides entry-level first call response for assigned territory customers.**What's In It For You?**- ** Elective Benefits**: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.- ** Grow Your Career**:Accelerate your path to success (and keep up with the future) with formal programs on leadership and professional development, and many more on-demand courses.- ** Elevate Your Personal Well-Being**: Boost your financial, physical, and mental well-being through seminars, events, and our global Life Empowerment Assistance Program.- ** Diversity, Equity & Inclusion**:It's not just a phrase to us; valuing every voice is how we succeed.Join us in celebrating our global diversity through inclusive education, meaningful peer-to-peer conversations, and equitable growth and development opportunities.- ** Make the Most of our Global Organization**: Network with other new co-workers within your first 30 days through our onboarding program.- ** Connect with Your Community**: Participate in internal, peer-led inclusive communities and activities, including business resource groups, local volunteering events, and more environmental and social initiatives.At TD SYNNEX, we're proud to be recognized as a great place to work and a leader in the promotion and practice of diversity, equity and inclusion.If you're excited about working for our company and believe you're a good fit for this role, we encourage you to apply.You may be exactly the person we're looking for
