**About the Role**:At AstraZeneca, we're at the forefront of delivering life-changing medicines through innovative technology.As a Technical Test Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems.Your expertise in testing will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare innovation.Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on people's lives through cutting-edge technology?**Key Responsibilities**:- Mentor and coach team members, embodying and enforcing AstraZeneca's values and behaviors- Define and manage the scope of testing for each release or delivery, ensuring thorough coverage and risk mitigation- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with AstraZeneca's goals and industry best practices- Deploy and manage resources effectively for testing activities- Provide clear, insightful reporting on testing progress, outcomes, and key insights to stakeholders- Plan, deploy, and manage testing efforts for various engagements across the organization- Proactively identify and resolve complex testing challenges, driving innovative solutions- Utilize X-Ray expertise to enhance testing processes and outcomes- Conduct SQL-based testing and API testing to ensure robust software performance- Ensure compliance with GxP standards and other relevant regulatory requirements- Implement and oversee basic automation initiatives to enhance testing efficiency**Required Qualifications**:- 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record in test management roles- Strong people skills, communication abilities, and soft skills essential for effective collaboration- Extensive experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and mindsets- Proficiency in developing test strategies, plans, and metrics- Expertise in X-Ray and other testing tools- Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals and API testing principles- Experience with basic test automation implementation- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges**Desirable Skills**:- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare technology sector- Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools- Familiarity with cloud testing environments- Understanding of machine learning and AI testing principlesWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we spark bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.In-person working gives us the platform we need to connect, work at pace, and challenge perceptions.That's why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from our Guadalajara office.But that doesn't mean we're not flexible.We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility.Join us in our unique and ambitious world, where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference.Are you ready to shape the future of healthcare technology?
