**All roles at JumpCloud are Remote unless otherwise specified in the Job Description.****About JumpCloud****About the Team**:- The Awareness Marketing team is part of the Marketing team focused on raising awareness, creating buzz, and generating positive dialogue for JumpCloud among press, analyst, and influencer groups and throughout the JumpCloud community.We also create buzz and positive awareness for customers, prospects, potential employees, partners, investors, and the industry to understand who we are and support ambitious revenue and growth goals for the company.**What you'll be doing**:- You will be a key communicator with the JumpCloud IT Admin community to make sure they have a great experience with the site, find information they need, connect with like-minded colleagues, and more.JumpCloud's total community consists of both owned and 3rd party sites: everywhere our admins are.The JumpCloud community is a community of practice, where any IT admin can talk about their career and challenges, but we also host product discussions as well.You will need to seamlessly shift between both.We also have a peer-to-peer Slack Lounge, where admins ask each other questions about our products and troubleshoot together, where you'll be expected to have a presence and build relationships.You will be a spokesperson at technical conferences and meetups, on technical podcasts (like our weekly IT Hour) and webinars, and in partner forums and social channels to promote the JumpCloud world view and products, or to gather resources to make sure users get the answers they need.You may also work with the content marketing team to plan and review technical content for the community forums.For meetups, you may be asked to host an IT meetup in your area.You will be an excellent storyteller using various media including blogs, webinars, demos, and documentation.On the back end of the forums, expect to manage the day-to-day administration of the site as well.You will participate in third-party communities (such as Reddit and Quora) to extend positive discussions of JumpCloud, correct factual errors or misunderstandings, surface and share content that the communities would benefit from.Additionally, you'll help other groups within JumpCloud find and respond to issues that they should own (putting people interested in joining as team members in touch with recruiting, getting service and support issues to the service/support teams, putting press and analysts and investors in touch with PR/AR/IR, getting customers who want to say great thing about us connected with customer reference marketing, etc.).You will also surface concerns regarding security trends, remote work, Small Medium Enterprise IT business needs and issues, and other topics back to other groups within Marketing.Additionally, you will help us identify micro influencers who may be a good fit for future engagement programs, as well as work closely with our community super users and advocates.**We're looking for**:- We want a collaborative team member who is passionate about JumpCloud, knowledgeable and passionate about our products, comfortable advocating for the tech AND business benefits of JumpCloud, and diplomatic enough to know when we can win someone over and when we just need to offer our ideas and thoughts and let an issue go.This role will sit in marketing, but will work closely with product, product marketing, customer education, support, sales, UX, and more.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Hands-on technical background (developer, IT sys admin or leader, systems engineer or sales engineer background, as examples) in security and/or SME IT solutions- 2-3 years experience as an IT admin preferred, with cross-platform experience strongly preferred- Bonus if you have prior experience building and nurturing technical communities- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences- Ability to define goals, measure results, and communicate the impact- Experience with Khoros platform a plus- Passionate about community best practices, principles, concepts, and technologies- Ability to work across all functional organizations as well as levels in the organizationJumpCloud provides a comprehensive benefits package, with several medical plans to choose from including a high deductible HSA plan with employer contribution, two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending account (FSA), employee assistance program (EAP), short- and long-term disability, life insurance and a 401k savings plan with match.We have a flexible paid time off policy.LI-JW1**Where you'll be working/Location**:- JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.This role is remote in the country of Mexico.You must be located in and authorized to work in Mexico to be considered for this role.**Why Jump
