Who We AreHi thereWe're Carbyne, and every day, we're on a mission to revolutionize public safety.As the global leader in emergency collaboration technology, we build a cutting-edge platform that helps save lives—think live video streaming, real-time chat, and precise location tracking.Our tools empower emergency teams to respond faster and smarterWith partnerships with tech giants like Amazon, Axon, and AT&T, we're innovating life-saving solutions for over 400 million people worldwide.Are you ready to make a difference with us?Let's do thisAbout the RoleWe seek a highly motivated and experienced Unified Communications Integration Engineer to integrate and deploy the world's first cloud-based emergency real-time communication platform.This role will report to an R&D Manager in Israel.You will be responsible for the interoperability and assimilation of highly available, Elastic, Robust, Multi-Tenant, and Self-Healing RTC and VoIP Signaling Services.The platform must comply with the most stringent Security, Authentication and Authorization Standards to ensure high SLA and guarantee 5-nines uptime.You will work closely with Carbyne's Operations team and act as the technical liaison between Engineering and the Business for all UC-related activities.You will get an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and build a lifesaving emergency platform.What You'll Be DoingWork as part of a real-time communication team in the Carbyne operation group to deliver a highly available 911 Infrastructure.Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne's Novel Emergency Communication Platform.Provide clients with customized communication solutions for Carbyne's unified communications services.Install, maintain, integrate, and contribute to PBX projects and UC solutions.Create and maintain technical specs and solution documents.Take overall responsibility for onboarding new customers in alignment with customer requirements and solution specifications using Carbyne's best practices.Provide technical support and training for the Operations team on 911 emergency communications systems.Gain a strong understanding of unified communications architecture, networking, and cloud computing.Interact with a variety of internal stakeholders: Carbyne's Operations, R&D, Sales, CTO Office, and Product Managers.RequirementsProven experience with VoIP architecture.Hands-on installation experience deploying open-source UC (such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, etc.).Extensive knowledge and understanding of VoIP deployments and protocols like SIP, SDP, RTP, WebRTC, and their troubleshooting.Understanding of video/audio codecs, packetization, encryption, and transport.3+ years of experience in solutions deployment of open-source VoIP solutions.3+ years of networking experience.Proven knowledge and experience in networking, full knowledge of the OSI model and deep understanding of layers 1-7.Good understanding of Linux environments, including bash scripting.Hands-on experience deploying on private and public network/security clouds (AWS).Bonus points: Industry certifications like CCIE, CCNP, CCNA Voice; knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; knowledge of AWS infrastructure.Feeling unsure because you don't check every box?Don't worry, we've been there too.At Carbyne, we value passion, potential, and a willingness to learn.If this role excites you and aligns with your career goals, we encourage you to take a chance and applyYou might be exactly who we're looking forBenefitsComprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision).401(k) matching—because your future mattersUnlimited vacation days (yes, really).Parental leave—family firstHealth wellness perks to keep you feeling great.$100 monthly allowance for your phone and internet because streaming cat videos and answering emails both count as "work," right?Plus, you'll join a team that believes in inclusion, equality, and having fun while making a difference.Our PromiseWe celebrate diversity and strive for a workplace where everyone belongs.We're dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to succeedWhere every person counts.Let's make the world safer together(Note: We are unable to sponsor employment visas)#J-*****-Ljbffr
