Overview:**We Are PepsiCo****Join PepsiCo and Dare for Better**We are the perfect place for curious people, thinkers and change agents.From leadership to front lines, we're excited about the future and working together to make the world a better place.Being part of PepsiCo means being part of one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, with our iconic brands consumed more than a billion times a day in more than 200 countries.Our product portfolio, which includes 22 of the world's most iconic brands, such as Sabritas, Gamesa, Quaker, Pepsi, Gatorade and Sonrics, has been a part of Mexican homes for more than 116 years.A career at PepsiCo means working in a culture where all people are welcome.Here, you can dare to be you.No matter who you are, where you're from, or who you love, you can always influence the people around you and make a positive impact in the world.**Know more**:PepsiCoJobs**Join PepsiCo, dare for better.****Responsibilities**:**The Opportunity**As part of our evolving international trade operations, the Global Compliance Team is seeking a dedicated individual to support compliance across various transportation modes for export and import activities throughout Latin America.This position addresses the increasing complexity of trade regulations and the need for a structured approach to meet diverse business demands.Historically, critical regions such as SOCO, Brazil, Andean, and CARICAM have lacked dedicated internal compliance regulatory teams.To bridge this gap, we established a global compliance team to provide regulatory support across these regions.However, the current workload has been managed by a single team member (L06), who frequently operates beyond capacity, handling tasks on an ad-hoc basis due to resource constraints.In this role, you will be responsible for delivering specialized and proactive compliance support tailored to the unique needs of over 17 local regions.You will collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Taxes, Engineering, Commercialization and Innovation, and Legal, to ensure compliance with trade regulations and facilitate business continuity across all transportation modes.This position is critical in enhancing our compliance capabilities and providing the necessary resources for effective regulatory management.**Your Impact**As Import & Export Compliance Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:- Data Analysis: Identify trends and areas for improvement in trade data across LATAM.- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance documentation is accurate and complete.- Customs & Trade Consulting: Provide support on compliance-related inquiries from regional teams and customs brokers.- Trade Agreement Management: Ensure compliance with free trade agreements and customs regulations in LATAM.- Baseline Creation: Create an inventory of trade agreements and duty regimes in the region.- Duty Optimization Analysis: Identify duty optimization opportunities through trade programs.- Standardization Initiatives: Collaborate on standardizing import/export processes in LATAM and North America.- SOP Development: Develop and control SOPs to ensure service levels across C&T sectors.- Strategic Support: Support operational planning and strategy for the customs and trade team.- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and knowledge management in compliance.- Automation Initiatives: Assist with automation initiatives to enhance team productivity.- Relationship Management: Foster interdepartmental relationships for smooth import/export operations.- Communities of Practice: Establish global communities of practice to improve collaboration and share best practices.Qualifications:**Who Are We Looking For?****Education**- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in International Trade, Customs**Experience**- 0-1 years in related to customs & trade and/or compliance- Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units- Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems- Self-starter with attention to detail- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across multi-functional, sector, and business teams- Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation andaudience in clear, concise and professional manner- English Fluency both written and verbalExceptional communication skills across global businesses- Experience in being part of and supporting large, complex best practices or projects- Experience with government portals within the different countries in the region- Experience with IT platforms and tools including design, configuration, development and implementation- Experience working with cross-functional competencies, people, and teams- Record in formulating innovative solutions a
