Design Layout SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Design Layout Specialist to join our team.As a Design Layout Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing delivery station layouts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Design Development: Create detailed CAD drawings of delivery station layouts, including equipment, workspaces, and infrastructure based on current standards and future design initiatives.Collaboration: Work closely with Design Engineers, fellow designers, architects, and construction teams to deliver complete and approved design sets.Stakeholder Engagement: Review and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans to address design-related inquiries.Quality Assurance: Support the design quality control process by participating in peer reviews, following design checklists and standards, and incorporating feedback from Design Engineers to ensure zero-defect outputs.Project Execution: Deliver new designs, post-permit updates, expansions, and retrofits that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity at delivery stations.Process Improvement: Implement new design templates, safety protocols, and process improvements into standard design practices.Qualifications:Experience: 1-3 years of Revit Experience, 1-3 years of project coordination experience, 1-3 years of experience in facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural drafting.Technical Skills: Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD Architecture within a design, civil, construction, or architectural environment.Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.Education: Associate's Degree in a relevant field.Soft Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage various stakeholders and facilitate meetings.Required SkillsTechnical Requirements:Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.Experience with building information modeling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD).Familiarity with construction documentation and permitting processes.Strong organizational and time-management skills.What We OfferAs a Design Layout Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and development of our team.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.About UsOur company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.We value teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and we strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
