Job Description SummaryHow about becoming a maker of possible?For more than 125 years, we've pursued our Purpose of advancing the world of health.We relentlessly commit to a promising future by developing innovative technologies, services and solutions, helping the healthcare community improve safety and increase efficiency.It takes the imagination and passion of all of us at BD, from the manufacturing to marketing of our products, to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions to turn dreams into possibilities - For people today, tomorrow and beyond.Become a maker of possible with usMicro Lab LeaderProvide supervision/guidance for Quality Assurance laboratory personnel at BD Juarez Sterilization assuring that procedures are followed, product dispositions are properly carried out, and all records of lot inspections are properly documented and maintained.Job DescriptionResponsabilities:- Organize, supervise, and document training of assigned and in accordance with quality procedures and quality related activities.- Ensure compliance with retention of records for testing completed.- Maintain an awareness of quality conformance for direct personnel records and personal observations; initiate corrective action when conformance to requirements is lacking.- Participates with support for testing related to project tasks as required.- Promotes a safe work environment.Provides recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.Follows safety procedures.Participates in Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) programs.Initiates a corrective action whenever a hazard is identified.- Escalates all observed laboratory hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices.- Participates in Continuous Improvement Projects related tasks as requiredRequirements:Bachelors degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology.Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory, medical devices, biotechnology environment.Minimum 5 years of experience in personnel supervision in the medical device industryMinimum 5 years of experience with ISO *****.Five years of experience in preparation of microbial test supplies to include maintaining adequate inventory of culture media, reagents, and other solution as well as QC testing of these preparationsExperience with instrumentation such as micropipets, microplate reader, centrifuges, Spectrophotometry and pipette, and biosafe hoods.Preparation of test equipment such as filtration devices, scissors, forceps, glasswareAdvanced English, is required for method development, policies and procedures, also to communicate with global entities- "BD values equity in the workplace without discrimination for any disability, class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation."_**Required Skills**:Optional SkillsPrimary Work LocationMEX Ciudad Juarez - EsterilizaciónAdditional LocationsWork Shift
