Job DescriptionProcess Engineer – Extrusion EMC responsible for designing highly efficient extrusion processes to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.Collaborates with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle, from concept to mass-production, ensuring continuous improvement and product quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport process design and improvement for extrusion to maximize efficiency and product quality.Monitor and adjust process parameters to meet specifications.Resolve troubleshooting issues during production.Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, production, and engineering on non-conforming products.Research and apply new technologies for process improvement.Suggest suitable materials and process parameters.Support real-time production monitoring.Coordinate preventive maintenance with tooling area.Contribute to extrusion master validation plans for prototype, development, or new product registration.Support training of operational personnel.Participate in innovation projects for process improvement and parameter updates.Track raw material testing and analyze process controls in case of failures.Ensure regulatory compliance with internal specifications, procedures, and standards.Integrate engineering and materials team inputs for system integration.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Plastics, Industrial, or related).3-4 years of experience in process engineering, preferably extrusion or related manufacturing.Strong understanding of extrusion processes, tooling design, and materials.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling design.Knowledge of QMS and compliance with industry standards.Legal ability to work in Mexico.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering or related field.Experience with advanced extrusion techniques (co-extrusion, multi-layer).Familiarity with automation and control systems related to extrusion.Certification in project management (PMP) or Six Sigma methodologies.Additional InformationDirectly used equipment: standard office equipment, PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed safety shoes).Employment type: Full-time.Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.All applicants will be considered.Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disability / Gender.#J-*****-Ljbffr
