**Country**:Mexico**Location**:LOC****: Carrier - Finance Shared, Galeana 469 Ote, Santa Catarina, ***** Mexico**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Manage, support, and validate payments to freight carriers on a weekly basis.- Ensure freight damage claims are addressed and accounted for in a timely manner.- Prepare required journal entries and account reconciliations associated with freight accounting, including the allocation of specific freight expenses.- Assist with developing and summarizing data used in calculating the inbound and outbound freight reserves.- Process and account for cash refunds received from freight carriers.- Assist with the resolution of freight invoice exceptions for processing by the third-party freight payment provider.- Support other projects, initiatives and requests impacting freight accounting as needed.**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:- Associates degree, 6-10+ years' experience- Bachelor's degree, 2-5 years' experience**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred- Knowledge of SAP and HFM preferred- Experience with freight companies and processes is a plus- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)- Self-driven with the ability to work in a dynamic environment- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)- Exceptional customer service skills including follow-up and follow through**_ Carrier is An Equal _**_Opportunity/Affirmative_**_ Action Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status, age or any other federally protected class._****Job Applicant's Privacy Notice**:Click on this link to read the Job Applicant's Privacy Notice**This position may not be performed remotely in Westchester County, Ithaca or New York City at this time.
