Overview:Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our fast-paced, global Supply Chain team.If you are an adaptable supply chain professional who is a strategic thinker, executes tactical materials planning and risk management activities, and enjoys building rapport with vendors and motivating team members, then we want to hear from youReporting to Senior Manager, Supply Chain, you will be responsible for procuring electronic components and materials in a lean manufacturing environment to consistently meet our customers' needs.We foster a collaborative and open work environment and a culture of growth and development.Hexagon A&P offers a complete company paid benefits package and excellent work-life balance.This position is with Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea and air.Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy.Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand NovAtel.**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world.This position is based in Guadalajara, Mexico.**Responsibilities**:As a**Senior Procurement Specialist**, you will:- Direct procurement using MRP workbench and analyze and complete MRP exception report actions- Collaborate with suppliers to communicate and implement NovAtel procurement strategies to achieve on time delivery and high-quality performance- Support the execution of supply chain strategies such as Kanban, safety stocks, and other risk mitigation programs to ensure the highest quality, on-time delivery, and optimal cost- Oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to meet service and project requirements- Monitor and track shipments and provide proper documentation as required- Coordinate quality issues resolution and expedite material shortages with suppliers- Help maintain and setup parts in our ERP system and participate in continuous improvement projects- Manage vendor QBRsQualifications:**Must-Have**:- University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering- Minimum 10 years' related experience in procurement, planning, and sourcing within a manufacturing environment- In depth knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and materials management- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and negotiating skills in dealing with supporting functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Operations)- Computer expertise in MS Office, MS Project, Excel- Effective problem solving skills with experience working in a continuous improvement environment**Key Success Factors**:- Self-motivated, independent work ethic and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment- Highly organized with keen attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills- Energetic and enthusiastic with a "can do attitude" about contributing to a positive team environment
