Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand(s) NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is home-based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.**Responsibilities**:As a**Procurement Specialist**, you will:- Direct procurement using MRP workbench and analyze and complete MRP exception report actions- Collaborate with suppliers to communicate and implement NovAtel procurement strategies to achieve on time delivery and high-quality performance- Support the execution of supply chain strategies such as Kanban, safety stocks, and other risk mitigation programs to ensure the highest quality, on-time delivery, and optimal cost- Oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to meet service and project requirements- Monitor and track shipments and provide proper documentation as required- Coordinate quality issues resolution and expedite material shortages with suppliers- Help maintain and setup parts in our ERP system and participate in continuous improvement projectsQualifications:**Must-Have**:- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sustaining procurement or planning role- Post-secondary education- Experience and use of ERP/MRP, Kanban, Safety stock, and visual manufacturing systems- Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve set objectives and deliverables- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook**Key Success Factors**:- Strong interpersonal as well as written and spoken communication skills- Excellent organizational and analytical skills- Self-motivated and an excellent team player- Ability to influence team and build rapport with stakeholders- Strength in solving moderate to complex problems- Adapts information/style to audience, explains difficult issues clearly, establishes consensus and attains agreement- Solid negotiating skills when dealing with partners and suppliers**Nice-to-Have**:- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams, with specific experience in facilitation roles- Preferred experience in electronics manufacturing supply chain- Lean manufacturing experience- Project management skills
