**Johnson Controls**is a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings.With operations in over 150 countries, we are committed to driving innovation and excellence in building technologies and integrated solutions.Our people are at the heart of our success, and we are passionate about attracting and developing top talent across the globe.We are looking for an **Item Master Team Lead.****What will you do?**The Item Master Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and governance of item data across multiple systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP S4, Baan).This role ensures data integrity, compliance with procurement policies, and alignment with global standards.The Team Lead will manage a small team of specialists, coordinate cross-functional activities, and act as the primary point of contact for item master-related initiatives.**How will you do it?**- **Data Governance & Maintenance**:- Ensure accurate setup of item attributes (e.g., item number, descriptions, UOM, lifecycle phase, supplier relationships).- Maintain compliance with procurement enablement requirements and BPA pricing structures.- Oversee cleansing efforts to remove unused items and maintain data quality across systems.- **Team Leadership**:- Lead and mentor team members responsible for item master domains; provide backup support when needed.- Allocate tasks for data conversions, validations, and mock runs during system migrations.- **Process & Compliance**:- Implement approval workflows for supplier code changes at item level and ensure category manager involvement.- North America Price Increase process SME.- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT teams for integration projects (e.g., SAP to Oracle Fusion interfaces).- Support CPQ and PRW enhancements related to MOQ and order multiplier validations.- **Reporting & Analysis**:- Provide regular extracts and reports for data conversion, audits, and compliance checks.- Monitor duplicate records and initiate enrichment activities to improve data quality scores.- Maintain PowerBi KPI reporting.**What are we looking for?****Required**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in item master management, procurement operations, or ERP systems.- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion, SAP S4, and data governance principles.- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Conversational English.**Preferred**:- Experience with CPQ, MuleSoft integrations, and BPA pricing.- Familiarity with global procurement policies and compliance standards.- Advanced Excel and data validation techniques.- PowerBi management desirable.**What do we offer?**- Comprehensive benefits package.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.- Supportive and inclusive work environment.- Commitment to work-life balance and employee well-being.- Engagement in meaningful projects that make a difference.Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a condition for hiring, continued employment, or promotion, in accordance with its commitment to labor equality and non-discrimination.
