(NYSE: AYI) is a market-leading industrial technology company.We use technology to solve problems in spaces, light, and more things to come.Through our two business segments, Acuity Brands Lighting and Lighting Controls (ABL) and the Intelligent Spaces Group (ISG), we design, manufacture, and bring to market products and services that make a valuable difference in people's lives.You may utilize this posting to upload your resume and information.**Job Summary**:Leads a team of warehouse personnel in handling materials, and all activities related to the receipt of goods at the plant.Their objective is to ensure that products are received, inspected, and recorded efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies..Ensures compliance with procedures and provides training and support.**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:- Act as the senior team member on shift.- Provide hands-on support for order receiving.- Train new employees on SOPs and safety procedures.- Troubleshoot inventory and shipping issues.- Ensure compliance with quality standards.**Skills**:- Technical: WMS (Warehouse Management System), forklifts, barcode scanning equipment.- Soft: Team leadership, time management, communication.**Minimum Experience Required**:- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent- Minimun of 3 years of experience as a Receiving Lead Specialist or similar roles.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnic or national origin, disability, pregnancy, and religion.
