Do you want to work at an organization that is people focused, service minded and results oriented, that offers their customers creative problem solving, progressive solutions, and improved outcome?Then Android Industries may be the place for you.We are committed to a culture of excellence, with a focus on best practices and continuous improvement.We understand that our people are our biggest strength, and we know that world-class service happens because of our capable and valued team members.Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.Android de MéxicoPlanta Silao, GuanajuatoPRODUCTION SUPERVISOR**JOB SUMMARY**:Production Supervisor is responsible for providing effective leadership of production and material handling operations and supervises assigned team members.The Shift Manager should be dedicated to create a safe environment where team members understand and observe Company's values.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Responsible for the production, assembly, and sequencing operations of the entire plant.- Oversee all operational launch activities.- Lead and develop Team Leaders.- Must be an 'on the production floor' leader-observing, analyzing, questioning, discussing, teaching and leading others.- Active leader in problem solving analysis and develop irreversible corrective actions of quality issues.- Ensure compliance with company's quality policies, values and philosophies.- Ensure short term and long-term goals are accomplished.- Administer operating systems to manage all production operations.- Maintain safe operations and a clean work area by adhering to safety and housekeeping procedures/regulations.- Complete all necessary forms, documents and reports within a timely fashion, as required by Company quality management system.- All other duties as assigned.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering.- 5+ years' experience as Production Supervisor in automotive industry- Knowledge of IATF- Knowledge of core tools- Experience in continuous improvement projects and methodologies such as Kaizen, Toyota Kata, lean manufacturing, among others.- Advanced English preferred**TRAVEL**:- Travel Required: minimum**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:- Knowledge of manufacturing processes of the automotive industry.- Must be willing and able to rotate to different shifts as deemed necessary.- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members.- Good organizational and administrative skills.- Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and teamwork skills.- Open minded, willing to take responsibility, result oriented.- Microsoft Office tools experience.- Demonstrated use of data-based decision making and problem solving.- Understanding of operations principles.- Familiarity with operation technological tools.**TRAITS/VALUES**:- The quality of possessing and adhering to positive, optimistic expectation of future events.Hope:- Confidence in one another- The quality of an understanding of another's challenges.- Concern for fairness.- The quality of having good, sound judgement.- Strength in the face of adversity.
