Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world's manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile.With more than 28,000 employees who make the world better every day, we know we have something special.Behind our customers - amazing companies that help feed the world, provide life-saving medicine on a global scale, and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better.We welcome all makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work.And if that's you we would love to have you join usJob DescriptionThe Contract Management role involves leading the negotiation and drafting of various agreements, identifying contractual risks, and guiding internal stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies.This position serves as a trusted advisor on contractual rights and remedies while fostering collaboration with business units, legal counsel, and external contacts globally.Your Responsibilities- Leading the negotiating and drafting of sales agreements, nondisclosure agreements, master purchase agreements, and master services agreements.- Reviewing and seeking out contractual risks, and guide others within the organization on ways to mitigate those risks.- Interacting with people from business units, legal counsel, and other functions to obtain approval for non-standard contractual positions.- Serving as a trusted advisor to the company on contractual rights and remedies.- Developing and carrying out training plans on company contracting processes.- Networking globally with key contacts outside one's own area of expertise.- Growing personally and professionally through continuous learning and development of skills.- Making an impact on departmental process improvements and project activities.- Participating in global calls and meetings via phone, Teams, or occasionally travel in-person.- Giving customers a valuable experience.- Provide support to other departments at Rockwell as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).The Essentials - You Will Have- 3 to 5 years' experience in negotiating terms and conditions of sales or purchase contracts.- Bachelor's Degree in law or business or related field.- Hybrid work-from-home and at a Rockwell Automation facility in Mexico City, Mexico or Bogotá, Colombia.Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.- Occasional business travel within the designated region(s).- Excellent English and Spanish speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.The Preferred - You Might Also Have- Additional language speaking, comprehension and writing skills- A postgraduate degree in law, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field.- Experience with negotiating contracts for Engineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software, Industrial Automation, and/or Technology.- Experience with regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and data privacy laws.- Confidence with speaking in group settings and initiative to drive negotiations to a close.- Strategic business focus as well as a strong code of ethics.What We Offer:- Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm- Volunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees- Company volunteer and donation matching program - Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.- Employee Assistance Program- Personalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program- On-demand digital course library for professional development- Other local benefitsModality: HybridYou will report to: REGIONAL CONTRACTS MANAGER, LATAMLI-VP1LI-HybridRockwell Automation's hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
