Purpose of the Role

The Sales Director is responsible for leading and executing LABRU's national sales strategy. This includes growing revenue through multiple channels (on-trade, off-trade, direct-to-consumer, and owned retail), expanding our distribution network, and strengthening our brand presence across Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement LABRU's national sales plan aligned with strategic goals.
  2. Manage the sales budget and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  3. Define pricing strategies, promotions, and commercial policies per channel.
  4. Lead the onboarding and growth of distributors in various regions.
  5. Build and execute tailored trade marketing strategies for taquerías, convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and owned retail points.
  6. Support the development of new sales channels, such as home delivery and retail experiences.

Customer Relations & Brand Positioning

  1. Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
  2. Oversee Key Account Management (KAM) operations.
  3. Support brand activation initiatives and events with commercial impact.
  4. Coordinate and supervise the commercial team, including regional brand ambassadors.
  5. Set objectives, provide performance feedback, and foster a high-performance culture driven by LABRU's purpose.

Analytics & Reporting

  1. Track KPIs and channel performance with a data-driven mindset.
  2. Generate periodic reports for the General Director with actionable insights.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably in food & beverage, FMCG, or premium/craft brands.
  3. Proven experience with distributor management and opening new sales channels.
  4. Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and sales analytics.
  5. Strong negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, and results-driven skills.
  6. A deep appreciation for Mexican culture and heritage.
  7. Creative thinking and the ability to break away from traditional commercial models.
  8. Passion for purpose-driven brands.
  9. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  10. Willingness to travel.
