**We are searching for the best talent for Ethicon Business Unit Director to be located in Ciudad de México, México.**

**Responsibility**
- Reports directly to Cluster General Manager, and is a member of the Cluster Leadership Team (CLT)
- Responsible for managing a complex portfolio of products, business models and solutions.
- Oversees organization (Sales, Marketing and Operations) with 200+ employees including 10 direct reports: Managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.
- Provide all necessary strategic and tactical inputs to the country franchise and functional leadership areas in alignment with regional and global strategies to support achievement of business results.
- Has P&L responsibility for sales around 90 MM USD. Manages P&L in partnership with Finance Director
- Lead and establish local (cluster) commercial access and development strategy (including but not limited to Franchise, Medical Affairs, Health Economics, Regulatory and Strategic Account Management)
- Create an environment where diverse perspectives are fostered and leveraged in designing and executing business plans
- Cultivate an environment where develop of talent is a priority - critical capability
- Build and develop the team to deliver results by leading and coaching franchise leadership team, establish plan for continuous staff development, hire, develop and retain top talent and create a pipeline for succession for the future
- Lead as role model for compliant business practices and nurture this behavior throughout the business - Tone at the Top and Action in Middle.
- Establish and manage relationships with key external stakeholders, e.g., medical societies, government agencies, business partners (healthcare and medical companies, public institutions, federal and state government)

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**
- Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry and in core medical areas - highly desirable
- Deep expertise and proven track record in Sales, Marketing, Access/Health Economics, Talent Management and Finance
- Proven success in delivering business results working in a matrix structure
- Ability to promote an organizational culture that challenges the status quo, and leads and adapts to change, creating a significant positive change as well as guiding the organization through it
- Strong financial acumen and proven P&L experience
- Proven abilities to inspire and mobilize an organization through periods of change, uncertainty and ambiguity
- Proven track record of successful talent development outcomes. Proven abilities to align and engage an organization around a compelling vision and to recruit develop and retain top talent.
- Able to successfully advocate for and represent J&J in the external market
- Knowledge of socio-economic and environmental and market dynamics in Mexico and LATAM and a strong customer and external environment orientation
- Previous success in establishing and effectively implementing pricing models and strategies in the institutional market

**Business Challenges**
- Create strategies that take into account the market dynamics of the country
- Work in collaboration across regional team to ensure alignment and consistency with MD strategies and proactively identify gaps and opportunities to take a more proactive role in shaping future commercial strategy
- Shape the external environment by developing relationships with key customers, surgeons, hospitals, health systems, and governmental agencies as well as partners in industry to industry associations for medical devices
- Rapidly evolving healthcare landscape - Budget/cost containment initiatives in both public and private sectors requiring innovative business models and solutions
