**Job Description**:
**Main Activities**:
CORPORATE
- Develop the GM reputation strategy for Mexico.
- Enhance the positioning of GM as the most admired automotive company through third-party rankings.
- Develop storytelling about positive stories such as: leadership, sustainability, technology, manufacturing, social responsibility, inclusion.
- Management of hot topics.
- Create a strategy to position the President and Managing Director leadership with stakeholders such as employees and media.
- Strengthen the monthly communications channel with dealers.
- Build and manage relationship with journalists and KOL’s.
- Advice other functions and leaders about public presentations on behalf of GM.
- Speechwriting and develop of presentations for the President.

INTERNAL
- Strengthen the communications strategy for employees across all Mexican facilities. This role should assure a stretch collaboration with the Communication Coordinator at the sites.
- Determine the strategy to be efficient and relevant with the internal communications channels and its content.
- Assure that all the internal communications plans have options for salary and hourly employees.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Ensure that the Social Responsibility activities across GMM sites are aligned with the 3 key pillars.
- Supervise the programs that are developed in the HQ for the subsidiary.
- Build relationships with ONG’s.
- Assure that the programs are properly communicated among stakeholders.
- Supervise the development of the Social Resp & Sustainability Report for Mexico.

GENERAL
- Lead the communications team according to business objectives.
- Represent GMM Team in global meetings such as Daily Business Update call.
- Align the services of Design, Media Monitoring and PR Agencies to GM needs.
- Partnership with other functions.

Corporate Communications Strategies

Internal Communications content and channels (including experience with hourly audiences)

ESG topics.

Bachelor Degree in Communications, Journalism, Pubic Relations or Marketing.

**Skills**:
Excellent written and oral communications

Speechwriting

Basic knowledge of design and video conceptualization

**Experience**:
+10 years of expertise in automotive industry, technology industry or large companies with manufacturing operations.

Media knowledge and relations with journalists.

Experience working with C-levels

Experience in leading teams

**Competencies**:
Functional/Technical Skills, Innovation Management, Problem Solving, Business Acumen, Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Building Effective Teams, Interpersonal Savvy.

This position is Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis
