As a Lead Tax Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining, updating, simplifying and improving current Tax Processes and operational excellence to achieve efficiencies, reduce compliance risk and improve analysis and reporting.

As a Lead Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Identification, implementation and automation of process to reduce/simplify those that does not add any value to achieve efficiencies.
- Support in coordination and update of our quarterly tax dashboard and reporting tool
- Elaborates proposals for improvement in methods, procedures and processes as part of our Operational Excellence forum
- Assisting in the identification of areas which can be automated and bring rigor to it. Structure and streamline the process to make it more standard and global.
- Establishing Internal control framework - identify the process and control gaps & come up with the mitigation plan. Maintain and update of SOP´s of the current processes.
- Working closely with the Region Leads and Controllership teams to ensure the correct tax balances.
- Support and coordinate tax professional fee tracking and spending
- Managing (as a PMO) any future migration and additional portfolio to our center.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Industrial Engineering, Administration or related.
- Have at least 4 years of experience using Alteryx, Power BI and creation of macro in Xls (Visual Basic)
- Have ability to discuss tax technical matters in various cross-functional team settings.
- Tax process knowledge and understanding in relation to Latam Countries
- Demonstrate fluency in English.
