As a Public Affairs and Government Relations Manager for Mexico, you will work within the Policy and Government Relations team of the LA OU North Region (Mexico) and the PMO of the whole PACS team of Mexico.

**What You’ll Do for Us**

Support the advocacy capacities of the Company through chambers and associations reporting to the Policy and Government Relations Mexico Director. Within this first scope, the role will be responsible of the following:

- Support in the planning and execution of our advocacy plans through chambers and associations to foster the business growth and development in the Mexico Region.
- Play a proactive role in the plans to protect the Company and System interests influencing the public policy agenda through active prevention and mitigation in the discussion of critical regulatory initiatives.
- Help private sector stakeholders on a day-by-day basis to manage and positively impact the Company's reputation and relationships with key national stakeholders to proactively address business issues and opportunities and mitigate negative impact on the business, including national and local regulations related but not reduced to:

- Excise taxes and related levies
- Labeling regulations
- Nutrients’ regulations
- Marketing and POS restrictions
- Waste & environmental regulations
- Provide tactical support to engage and coordinate with bottling partners to develop public policy and chamber and association´s plans to address local regulatory needs in Mexico’s states.
- Monitor, record and report national and local regulatory agenda (bills, status of discussion, commissions, etc.) Moreover, assure that the Company is always at the table in any forum of Chambers and Associations in which a private sector position is been discussed regarding a regulation that may have an impact on our business or categories.
- Provide support to public policy leaders in the Company’s agenda in national industry trade associations and help them to coordinate the daily work with agencies and consultants.

Act as PMO of the whole PACS team of Mexico, reporting directly to the PACS Director of the LA OU

North Region. In this capacity, the responsabilities to be carried on are the following:

- Making sure that the WOW of the team complements each other as an holistic process in which meetings are kept to a minimum while optimizing the result od such encounters with timely pre reads to set the agenda.
- Keep track of timelines and commitments of each member of the PACS team to assure that pre reads and follow up of instructions and commitments are carried out on time.
- Responsibility of grouping and reviewing all the materials that are sent out for the execution of the WOW routines.
- Coordinating that all the projects carried on within the PACS team are properly communicated and harmonized with both, the different areas within the PACS team, and with the WOW of the team with the PACS teams of the Bottling system.
- Assuring that the people needed in each meeting are properly invited and briefed to assure the productivity of each interaction with external stakeholders.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree required
- +5 years of experience in public affairs in public, private or NGO sector, managing national stakeholders within the national spectrum of chambers and associations
- Experience in working in long term strategies
- Experience in the design of control mechanisms for internal working processes
- Strong communicator to support work both with internal and external stakeholders (NGOs, governments, companies)
- Ability to successfully engage in work with multiple functions to align on strategies
- Stakeholder mapping to determine most influential and effective partners.
- Write and develop material to be shared with external stakeholders and audiences.
