**About The Role**

The global HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all human resources operations for Directive Consulting in the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This role will involve managing a global HR team and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices across multiple locations. The global HR Director will play a critical role in supporting the agency's growth and success by fostering a positive work environment and optimizing HR strategies on an international scale.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a global HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the agency's business objectives and values.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and address HR-related needs and challenges in each country.
- Provide expert advice on labor laws, regulations, and best practices in the UK, Canada, Mexico, and the US.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor and evaluate HR programs and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
- Own the implementation and management of payroll in accordance with the laws and regulations in UK, MEX, US, and CAN.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support global expansion and other strategic initiatives.
- Manage and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and inform decision-making.
- Ship and store company-owned laptop computers for their country

**What you offer**:

- 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- Employee relations experience.
- Knowledge of a wide range of human resource practices, including compliance, leave management, benefits management, and vendor relationships.
- Must have payroll experience for Mexico and US HR experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Solid time management skills and strong ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, open, entrepreneurial environment

**Work Environment Requirements**

As a remote-first company we primarily collaborate with our colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary.
