Mexico Outside Carrier Sales Manager

Mexico Outside Carrier Sales reps are viewed as an extension of the Carrier Floor. They are expected to work directly alongside the MX Carrier Sales Management and Pricing Teams. The primary goal of each rep is to grow our internal capacity network and to in turn to increase the profitability of the Mexico Department. Each rep is expected to be knowledge of the changes within the Mexico Market and to in turn be able to present opportunities to our carrier base. Reps are also expected to remain flexible and be able to grow capacity within their target markets to the best of their abilities.
**DAILY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES **(include, but not limited to):
- Accumulate carrier sales leads within their target sales region.
- Schedule meetings with carrier leads to understand potential opportunity of each carrier.
- It is expected for each outside carrier sales rep to schedule 10-12 meetings per week.
- It is expected for each outside carrier sales rep to add 35 new carriers into our network within each sales quarter.
- Once contract is approved, it’s expected for each outside carrier sales rep to create new carrier files. Each of these files needs to be placed in the MX Carrier SRM’s name for allocation.
- It is expected for each of these files to have 5+ consistent lanes logged within the capacity tab.
- The capacity information will be monitored by Lauren Jakubowski.
- Remain in constant contact with our pricing team to understand new opportunities. In turn, it is expected for each rep to meet and present potential opportunities to our current carrier base
- Remain knowledgeable of changes within the Mexico Market. Be understanding of different issues our carriers may face.
- Attend networking and social gatherings.
- Oversee and manage the performance of the Outside Carrier Sales Reps Team
**EXPECTED KPIs**:
- Average 10-12 meetings per week for the entirety of the quarter.
- Add 35+ new carriers to our network each quarter.
- Average 5+ lanes logged within the capacity tab of each newly created carrier file.
