**Operations Research Analyst**
**OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST**
**Main Purpose**
**Responsibilities**:
**Accountabilities**
- Work closely with Manufacturing and other Supply Chain functional teams to convert business problems into mathematical models for developing futuristic decision-making tools and providing insightful solutions that enable productivity gains.
- Prototype the above business problems with modelling packages like Xpress, CPLEX, Gurobi.
- Support Inventory Optimization Planning system.
- Partner with business teams to look beyond data to identify and articulate opportunities that will raise the bar for advanced decision-making tools.
- Partner with Demand Planning, Analytics Innovation & Transformation, and Reporting/Tools team within Supply Chain Data Science team for collaborative projects to drive productivity.
- Mentor others as needed on best practices for design and implementation of cutting-edge analytics solutions.
Qualifications:
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Systems, Mathematics or related.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles or projects.
- Experience with linear programming models applied to production planning
- Xpress Experience
- Softwares knowledge such as: SQL, Python and Azure DevOps.
- Master's degree in linear programming or operations research.
- Customer focused, adaptable, strong follow up and organizational skills
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively
This position is based in Mexico´s City, Mexico.
