To directly sell all FedEx products and services to present FedEx customers and potential customers in a defined geographic territory resulting in net additional revenue to FedEx._x000D_ _x000D_ Sell all FedEx products and services to an existing customer base in a defined geographic territory with revenue generating responsibility as defined by FedEx management, resulting in net incremental revenue. Sell all FedEx products and services to non-FedEx customers within a defined geographic area; utilize all available sales tactics to continually add new customers in a revenue band defined by FedEx management. Develop and implement a lead generation process which utilizes all FedEx resources (Couriers, station employees, etc ) to ensure a steady flow of quality leads that result in incremental revenue. Develop and implement a sales work plan and schedule that ensures minimum attainment of all required sales activities including sales calls, service calls, proposal presentation, trips, as well as any other sales activities defined by FedEx management. Develop and maintain a territory intelligence system that records, stores, and reports all sales activities, account information, market place and industry information, and competitive information as well as any other information deemed necessary by FedEx management. Handle and/or coordinate with station employees on all customer problem resolution activities and ensure a timely follow-up. Gather, prepare and submit all sales related reports to Sales Manager.
- Research and prospect for new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Win, maintain and develop customers through sales hunting activity.
- Identify business opportunities by qualifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
- Exceed designated territory revenue objectives for new and acquired customers.
- Sell FedEx broad range of products and services by developing strong relationships with prospects and recommending optimal solutions for their business.
- Build and grow relationships with customers by providing timely support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities; recommend profit and service improvements aligning with FedEx People-Service-Profit strategy.
- Remain current on FedEx products and services, industry and economic trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators assigned.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales, or business administration preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to deliver results
- Passionate about sales
- Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales, or business administration preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to deliver results
- Passionate about sales
- Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
