Job Description:
About you:
We are looking for a visionary leader with hard and soft skills that let them to encourage and mentor a high performer team in areas like maintenance, stores, and project management. He/ She will oversee crafting a motivated team, which consistently increases their knowledge, skills, and ability, as well as doing team work to craft our future.

Accountability:

- Safety promoter and accountable of a strict safety procedure compliance.
- Optimizing generation and consume of utilities like steam, water, compressed air, electricity, etc. by ensuring an efficient operation through Asset Care & Engineering practices and standards.
- Performance supervising through SAMART important metrics aligned to company priorities.
- Supporting or deploying CapEex projects.
- Environmental and Operations departments to develop improvement plans for utility usage that drive our operation toward an approach of sustainability.
- Owns the overall development of maintenance competence for the site, specifically the upskilling of asset care teams to accommodate the changes in role brought about by Asset Care and Autonomous Maintenance programs.
- Role model in the use of systemic problem-solving tools focus on Zero Waste.
- Builds a strong working relationship with Operations, Engineering and ManEx Managers

Purpose of the role:

- Possesses a deeply understanding of utilities operation which includes operation of biomass boilers, electrical sub-stations, water treatment systems, compressors, blowers, cooling towers, etc.
- Well balanced decision maker with the ability to work under pressure; comfortable with sophisticated data; ability to distinguish and prioritize urgent from important.
- Proactively participation with Operation, ManEx and Engineering managers to develop the strategy and aim to high performance operation.
- Promoting a strong culture based on Manufacturing of Excellence passionate about Zero Waste, as well as, dealing with the environment promoting a balanced culture.

Skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, with Proven technical ability to manage in a sophisticated environment, delivering practical solutions.
- Ability to lead and handle people performance, mentor and development a multi-disciplined teams from technicians to managers.
- Financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.
- Leading and embedding change within teams.

Desirable/developed in role:

- SAP (or MRP systems), Planned Maintenance, Environmental and Quality systems.
- Knowledge of local Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, and controls
