Asset Care Utilities Specialist

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee the maintenance, stores, and project management functions within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting a motivated team that consistently increases their knowledge, skills, and ability, while also ensuring the efficient operation of utilities such as steam, water, compressed air, and electricity.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize the generation and consumption of utilities through Asset Care & Engineering practices and standards.
- Supervise performance through key metrics aligned to company priorities.
- Support or deploy CapEex projects.
- Develop improvement plans for utility usage that drive our operation towards sustainability.
- Own the overall development of maintenance competence for the site, specifically the upskilling of asset care teams.
- Role model in the use of systemic problem-solving tools focused on Zero Waste.
- Build a strong working relationship with Operations, Engineering, and ManEx Managers.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of utilities operation, including the operation of biomass boilers, electrical sub-stations, water treatment systems, compressors, blowers, and cooling towers. They will also have the ability to work under pressure, make well-balanced decisions, and prioritize urgent from important tasks.
