**Your role at Baxter**

This IT role requires a professional in Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field with demonstrated experience within an IT Management role, or an Operations Management role with a strong education in IT to configure networks, their operation, security, and cloud-based computing

The Global Information Technology Centers are focused on being a stronger business partner, aligned to deliver on the technology needs and maintaining global support and shared expertise to advance digital capabilities across the enterprise. Our IT function is made up of employees with varied backgrounds and knowledge. This diversity of skills and expertise allows us to bring creative and innovative solutions.

**What you'll be doing**
- Coordinate project planning and execution activities, maintain schedule/budget, track issues/risks
- Plan and execute system implementations and change controls
- Gather and analyze business requirements, develop specifications as needed
- Manage vendors and third part providers
- Perform tasks with minimum direction, independently manage complex problems, guide others

**What you'll bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant Computer Science field
- 5+ years of experience in Life Science / Pharma industry working engineering systems in validated environment
- Practical experience computer systems validation and SDLC
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability
- Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills, ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities, attention to detail and strong organization skills are essential
- Familiarity working across multiple business domains in support of projects
- Ability to interact with business users, project managers, senior management, outsourced service providers, and vendors
- Self-starter, independent thinker, able to work with minimum direction, high level of initiative and energy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point)
