Statutory Advisor

This position is responsible to perform, prepare and support daily diverse set of work activities in the end-to-end process related to Statutory requirement across Kellogg functions.

Attend, support, and coordinate with external audits.

Work with the external Audit and Annual closing calendars with Auditors, BU to guarantee the timely and accurate deliverables.

This position will also identify areas for improvement and standardization across KLA, and will interact with diverse, multiples positions, Areas and levels across the organization.

Reports to: Statutory Team Lead

NA direct reports

Within the tower: Peer relationships exist across multiple functions throughout the organization (e.g., GBS, logistic, Marketing, Finance, BU, Audit)

Interacts with multiple levels in the organization and internal / external auditors.

Location of the role (Querétaro, Hybrid).

**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Good level of understanding of local & statutory rules to be complying for Mexican entities.
- Perform month end activities in accordance with local closing calendar flagging promptly any risk that cause delays to address and contribute to solve them.
- Investigate & support the resolution of recurring issues within the processes to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Prepared account reconciliations for local books.

**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting /Business / Administration / Finance.
- Strong knowledge in NIF
- Previous experience (3 Years or more) Preferred on Big4 firms, Finance & Accounting.
- PC skills with an emphasis on Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Desirable knowledge of SAP.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and be detail oriented.
- Medium English Level.
