**Position Summary**: The Supply Chain Specialist - Logistics role will be responsible for leading logístical supplier development projects. This includes the global allocation and bottleneck management to maximize the use of resources and to ensure the security of supply to end customers as well as the conduction of logístical supplier audits and capacity studies and analysis at the supplier. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for the negotiation of logistics agreements and contracts with the supplier and globally plan, coordinate and implement supply chain concepts.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Lead logístical supplier development projects.
- Conduct logístical supplier audits (GMMOG/LE) as part of a logístical supplier development project.
- Global allocation and bottleneck management to maximize the use of resources and to ensure the security of supply to end customers.
- Conduct capacity studies and analysis at suppliers.
- Negotiate of logistics agreements & contracts like consignment and delivery performance target agreements.
- Plan, coordination and implementation of global & local Supply Chains concepts.
- Improve, consult and optimize logistics costs within the Supply Chain.
- Create and track logistics KPI’s and reports.
- Primary liaison between suppliers, internal departments and customers.
- Perform duties as assigned.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in bottleneck management and logístical supplier development projects.
- 3-6+ years’ experience in logistics preferably in the automotive industry.
- 1-3+ years’ experience in logistic audits like GMMOG/LE.
- SAP experience and advanced knowledge in SAP modules PP, MM.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Intercultural competencies and experience in negotiation with suppliers are an advantage.
- Experience and ability to function in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good written, communication, organizational and detail-orientated skills.
- Interpersonal and experienced negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on complex problems and use independent judgment.
- Ability to travel 30%, as it is required.
