**Job Description**:
**AECOM** is actively seeking a highly talented, ethic, responsible and motivated **Director of Operations** for immediate employment in the Mexico City, Mexico office, responsible for the overall direction of complex, high dollar volume and manpower intensive areas within the country. We are looking for somebody with capacity to manage efficiently the operational risks, with proactive attitude, objectives driven, with leadership and communication skills of Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for projects results, support and lead the technical and operational management of the Mexico general operations.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for supervisory and subordinate assignments, responsibilities and utilization of resources within the organization.
- Coordinates with supervisors in execution of corporate programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conducts staff meetings for dissemination of pertinent information.
- Coordinates project activities in order to meet client and project objectives.
- Responsible for status of on-going work, risks and projected completion dates.
- Supports the regional and business line managers assisting in developing new clients and increasing market share with existing clients.
- Managing resources to execute and deliver on projects for the business units
- Leading the risk management process of the projects
- Reviewing project progress, course-corrects and problem-solves as needed
- Ensuring operational excellence on projects
- Coordinating project staffing and People / Administrative
- Tracking key milestones and anticipates potential risks & mitigates
- Leading Project delivery, quality and reviews according to corporate policies and procedures
- Reporting internally the status of the operations, projects, HR, IT and procurement.
- Managing resources across projects and support areas
- Developing, motivating and mobilizing team leaders and staff to maximize potential
- Builds, trains, and retains people that align with the area and BL strategies
- Partnering with Regional Business Line Leaders (RBLL) on Business Development resource allocation/prioritization (esp. Seller-Doers)
- Conducting periodical project reviews with RBLLs and PMs
- Working closely with Sub-Region Executive and LATAM COO on regional P/L management
- Addressing staff demographics / balances issues in hiring decisions

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture and Management or related field
- 10+ years of Infrastructure Engineering consulting and/or large scale construction projects, programs, and contracts
- Operational leadership experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L of $10M+
- Strong financial administration skills
- Strong understanding of risk-management issues, ability to assess, analyze, and make recommendations on risk issues
- Excellent communications, teamwork and interpersonal skills
