The Freight Brokerage Sales Representative is a results-driven role focused on sales growth, customer service, and relationship management. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.
- Collaborating with the Brokerage team to develop innovative strategies for profitable growth.
- Keeping up-to-date with the Transportation Industry, carrier modes and services, and basic Supply Chain design, including cross-border shipping.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop enhancement strategies.
- Adapting and effectively executing any additional assigned duties.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Proven track record of expanding the brokerage customer base and rapidly increasing sales revenues.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in brokerage sales, customer service, and logistics in a 3PL environment.
- Results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and self-motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive nature with a strong drive to contribute to a winning culture.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and follow-up practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
