Objetivo del cargoEl VMware Specialist Senior es responsable de la administración y el soporte técnico de la infraestructura VMware. El especialista es responsable de proveer los servicios relacionados con el Manejo Virtual de los ambientes.

**Responsabilidades**:
Administrar el sistema de soporte de los ambientes VMware.

Responsable de la instalación, configuración y documentación de ambientes virtuales.

Controlar, monitorear, implementar y configurar el Centro Virtual.

Administrar, instalar y actualizar las herramientas y software de VMware

Instalación, configuración y administración de ESX en versiones 5, 6 y 7.x

Actualizar el firmware y las aplicaciones de configuraciones para proteger los ambientes VMware

Implementar restricciones de software, audito de sistemas, protocolos de seguro de redes y de backup systems.

Experiência de actualización ESXi. Configuración HA y DRS

Administración y configuración de virtual switches.

Manejo de máquinas virtuales ( Templates, snapshots, etc)

Diagnósticos avanzados y troubleshooting en las plataformas de VMware ( ESXi, Virtual Machines, datastores, vswitches)

Responsable de soporte de actividades de cambios de infraestructura y aplicación de cambios

ResPonsable de terminar correctamente los procesos y la metodología de la compañía.

Mantener vSphere consola como es requerido.

Ejecutar diagnósticos avanzados

Elaborar / Actualizar la documentación y los procesos relacionados con la plataforma VMware

Participar activamente en los proyectos como líder técnico en caso de ser requerido.

Realizar los reportes de consumo de seguridad / Vulnerabilidad para generar planes de solución adecuados además de implementar y monitorear las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad

**Your Profile**
Experiência y conocimientos:
5+ años de experiência en el sistema de desarrollo de VMware

Experiência en sistemas operativos.

Conocimiento de ESXi Shell y VMware PowerCLI.

Conocimientos de configuraciones Cloud

Familiarizado con servidores SAN : NAS y copias de seguridad.

Secuencias de comando en Shell

Soluciones de problemas

Certified professional de VMware - Central data digitalization (VCP-DCV)

Ingles avanzado

Conocimiento de Windows / Linux / Solaris / AIX

Conocimiento de ITIL

Conocimiento de plataformas Cloud

Conocimiento de Service Now / ticketing tool

Conocimiento de Disaster Recovery plan
